This function, tuned for more responsive interactions, is initially exclusive to the Gemini 2.5 Pro model and unavailable in some regions, including the EU and UK. Users can control this feature's activation via the settings page.

Turning off Personal Context is an option, but the new Temporary Chats feature provides a stronger privacy layer akin to incognito modes. From September, Google will tweak data handling within Gemini, incorporating a portion of chat data and uploads for AI training. Users wishing to avoid this inclusion in AI models must manually opt-out by adjusting their account privacy settings under the soon-to-be-updated 'Keep Activity' option.
